Abstract: | Two studies were conducted to examine aspects of a three-component model of organizational commitment. The affective component refers to employees'emotional commitment. Continuance refers to a cost-induced commitment, and the normative component is obligation-based. In study 1, scales were developed to measure these components. Relationships among the components were examined in Study 2. |
