| Abstract: | A study was conducted among 121 employees in two hospitals to identify regular temporal movement within an employee group over a period of five years and to estimate their relative contribution to total variance. The relative stability and variability of the two measures of absence, frequency and time-lost were compared to identify some advantages and disadvantages in their use. |
