| Abstract: | This article aims to reveal some "mental turns" or paradigm shifts taken place in consumer research in Finland during the last century, but particularly in the last 40 years. Similar paradigm turns could possibly be identified in other Nordic countries, too. This review is skewed towards consumer behaviour theory in marketing and sociology. Each researcher who has published a doctoral dissertation or other major books will be mentioned through reference to his/her dissertation, often revealing the main field of interest. |
