| Abstract: | Entrepreneurship (hereafter as: e-ship.) has globally strengthened its position in higher education and research during the last three decades. In a European-wide survey experts from different universities estimate that the supply of e-ship. education will continue to grow substantially during the period 2005-2010. This intensified interest reflects more fundamental changes in society. As to Finland, the Finnish Government follows European Union (EU) strategy, subscribing to the notion of the broad scope and impact of e-ship. on Finland's future prosperity. This special issue offers a cross section of the recent Finnish research on e-ship. education in an international landscape. |
