| Abstract: | Management practices related to company resources - cash, material, facilities, and personnel - have matured and stabilized throughout the business community. Information of data, however, is just entering adolescence as a recognized resource worth managing. Techniques similar to a Chart of Accounts are now being developed to measure and categorize data. Many factors are driving the need to manage data better. The organizations must evolve the data management concept within the enterprise. |
