Abstract:A societal-type comparative analysis is used to differentiate between hierarchical systems in France, Germany and Japan. The organizational French system is contrasted to the professionalized German and the dynamic Japanese system which is favourable to the development of strategic competitiveness. Based on this analysis, an evaluation of the status of the framework, of jobs and innovation, and of the impact of the hierarchical structure on industry competitiveness in these three countries is made. It is claimed that there is a correspondence between the hierarchical principles of companies, the social groups transversing them, as well as the way the company is functioning.
