Abstract:Computer crime is a great problem of our days. The vast majority of computer break-ins are internal. Corporate planners can use two strategies to combat potential computer security problems: access management and data encryption. Access management concerns determining who is initiating the session and where he is located. The accepted commercial encryption algorithm is the so-called data encryption standard used extensively by the banking industry. Encryption is the only way to manage security on local area networks.
