| Abstract: | The article presents a programming model of production in which environmental constraints are built in. The analysis is performed on two levels, that of strategic planning (choice of technology) and tactical planning (choice of production program under given technology). It is demonstrated for both cases that control through quantity constraints and through pricing of environmental goods are equivalent in their effect (shadow price - Lagrange multiplicators - of the use/ spoiling of the environment are equal). |
