Abstract: | Top IS executives agree that they should be involved in the development of overall business plans for their firms. However, many IS executives feel they have been left out of the corporate planning process. A recent IS survey is presented suggesting some answers. According to the survey, 35 p.c. feel mostly uninvolved, 39 p.c. feel somewhat involved, and only 12 p.c. feel very involved. Top managers' views of IS are discussed, and the place of IS as their involvement in planning is shown through company's management eyes. |
