| Abstract: | Market has been difficult for a number of years for BICC Cables at Helsby, so the company decided to reduce its workforce and rationalise the products. But parallel to this the company moved away from the traditional manufacturing system and it not only changed the way business was organised but also it changed the way people operated within those structures. It changed the whole culture so that employees identified more with their colleagues and the products. |
