Abstract:ITV has a target, by 1992, of 25% of its output to come from independent producers. The complex buying system within ITV network is explained and a guide to co-producing with ITV companies is provided. ITV is committed to English language programming as there is no tradition of dubbed programming. Given the increased competition in the U.K. market, syndication through ITV regions is the last route an overseas distributor should try.
