| Abstract: | It is an important question for TV stations to have an agent abroad or not. Opinions differ: Head of Thames TV believes that agents' work is useful and necessary since they know the language and local market best. US Worldvision states just the opposite, while others think that it depends on the market in question. Co-production may, however, endanger the position of agents in the future. |
