| Abstract: | BSkyB plans to launch a wide-screen D2-MAC service on Astra presenting film, sports and special events. Certain problems may slow down the start of the new channel: additional fees should be paid for the right to broadcast in a wide-screen format, the equipment is very expensive. A further problem is if it will operate with or without HDTV. |
