| Abstract: | In the first issue of Euromoney, the magazine described itself as "the journal of the international money and bond markets". Except that "bond markets" has been replaced by "capital markets", that is still the description used. Indeed some of the articles in issue number one would not look out of place in Euromoney today. Geoff Dyer reviews some of the highlights of the June 1969 issue: Beyond Nationalism; Choking investors; Euromoney and the Exchanges; The Central Bankers' Role and others. |
