Abstract:On the basis of root cause analysis, the optimal level of human fitness for duty must be assured for keeping adequate level of human performance.The low level of fitness for duty shapes in percieved stress level.The stress intensity depends on the distinction between work demands and human abilities.Decrease in the level of percieved stress and increase in the fitness for duty are reached by task modification, work reorganisation and with changes in employees' and employers' attitudes towards fitness for duty activities.In this paper presented fitness for duty activities are based on the international recommendations and on the world's good practise in the fitness for duty assurance in different kind of tasks.
