| Abstract: | The development of the experimental areas of international service trade with Chinese characteristics will undergo three phases: 1. starting stage (1998 to 2000), during which the feasibility studies should be accomplished, the trial regulations on management formulated and breakthrough effect produced. 2. the stage of reaching a set standard (2001 to 2005), during which the best investment and service environment will be created, business subject groups of diverse forms of ownership formed and the regional back- bone market of knowledge-based service trade in Asia and the Pacific Region established. 3.expansion stage (2005 to 2020) during which the various international service trade functions of the experimental areas will expand in directions to the peripheral regions and the central and western areas. |
