Abstract:Accountants are quite often required to advise and counsel business clients about the wide-reaching changes in accounting procedures necessary for the smooth introduction of computer-based systems. But purchasing a computer means more than improved efficacy; it can also open opportunities for fraudulent action. Financial consultants have a clear duty to their clients to give advice of the problem of computer- related fraud.
