Abstract: | Reviews have supported the existence of noteworthy participation-outcome relationship, and this study is a meta-analysis of situational moderators on it. The results based on correlation coefficients indicate that group size, independency and complexity of tasks, and performance standards exert only a few moderating effects. Some of the results which seem to support the above mentioned relationship appear to be the products of percept-percept effects. Combined with another recent meta-analysis it is suggested that methodological artifacts influence these results. |
