| Abstract: | Decision analysis models for attitudes toward risk in multiperiod planning are presented. These models can be used to formulate preferences for a risk management study in which both of the following preference issues are judged to be of crucial importance: tradeoffs between the outcomes in different periods, and attitudes toward risk for the outcomes. The models presented are sufficiently general so that these two issues can be examined separately. They also are sufficiently structured so that they can be applied by the same procedures that are used for other decision analysis models. |
