Abstract:The management consulting industry is evolving under the influence of three major factors: new client demands, changing technologies and intensifying international competition. In order to adapt to this new context and to anticipate demand, consulting firms are developing original strategies - often with success. Consulting related to the product-services offered, to working procedures and methods and to the identification of special target groups is analyzed. Many companies do not want to charge a single consulting firm with a whole complex project thus protecting their own solution of a problem and providing opportunity for rival firms as well.
