| Abstract: | Cable News Network CNN is about to become the world's first and perhaps the only totally dedicated news network. Its aim is to be in about 1 million European cable homes. Turner has been sending a news feed from the U.S. to Europe since 1985. Now CNN is distributed to about 60 countries in the world. The biggest potential rival is NBC, which also has announced that it will be transmitting news to Europe. |
