| Abstract: | Thames Television will be the first in Europe to introduce M2 format in its videotape operation. As a first step portable single camera units will be used followed by videotape machines and transmission equipment during the next five years. Thames co-operates with NBC the biggest user of this format in the US. Making comparison tests also the BBC considers introduction of M2 format. |
