| Abstract: | With the onmarch of computer integrated manufacturing, factory planning should be purposed to a comprehensive innovation of the factory. The objective is to fulfil customer expectations better than before and in an economic way. The CIM concept is briefly explained. Some government incentives for companies toward a computer integrated manufacturing system are mentioned. The impact of CIM innovation on factory planning is examined. Some priorities and problems are considered. The most important planning issues are reviewed. |
