Abstract:The arrangement of working time essentially determines the position of the worker in the labour process since it defines the requirements for his/her presence in the company. It thus determines also the worker's chances to arrange his/her leisure time affecting in this way the degree of humanization for his/her entire lifetime.Hence, the length of working time as well as its different types are the essential features for labour humanization. In the first part of his paper the author is describing the historical background of the working time arrangement and its effect on the humanization processes.Later on he is giving a thorough system display of working time.He divides it into two basic types: the fixed working time and the variable one, and inside the two of the groups he treats numerous possible forms.
