| Abstract: | The UK presidency is anxious to pursue the EU's undertaking to incorporate environmental considerations in all its policies. Although EEB has given a broad wellcome to the presidency's ambitions, it still has expressed some reservations. In particular the EEB regrets the absence of an initiative for ecological taxation and public transport and of attention to strategic environmental impact assessment. |
