| Abstract: | The insurance market is undergoing dynamic changes requiring major decisions from insurance companies if they are to maintain their present positions. The key challenge for insurers is to deal with thinner margins, resulting from greater competition arising from deregulation, and slowing market growth. The results presented in this paper are derived from a broad research program focused on the perceived relevance of different competitiveness' attributes and determinants within the Italian insurance industry. |
