Abstract:Generally speaking, the only reason that people are motivated to perform any activity is that they have an expectation that they will somehow be better off by having done so. All constructive plans, actions, and accomplishments are fuelled by expectations. A second phase must be built on the Management by Objectives approach. This can be termed Management by Expectations. MBE transcends other management approaches, because, instead of focusing on the rational and objective components of management, it stresses the human management.
