| Abstract: | Attention is increasingly focused on the field of personnel management and its content and structure have become the subjects of lively discussions. The negative experience with the classic system of centralised personnel management has given rise to suggestions for alternatives. The paper describes the functions and structure of personnel management in a divisional enterprise. After establishing criteria for the structuring of the functions of personnel management, the author develops a 4-function concept for divisional enterprises, allocates personnel tasks accordingly and, in conclusion, assesses the chances for the realization of his concept. |
