| Abstract: | The Tumenjiang district's exploitation has drawn the attention of UNDP. US dollar 30 billion is supposed to be invested in this area with an aim at building the "Second Hong Kong" or the "Second Rotterdam". This article conceives to set up an overland communication network in Tumenjiang district in order to make it a new Eurasia Continental Bridge as a good collecting and distributing center which borders on Russia and Korea on the east, runs across Jilin and neighbours Mongolia on the west. It also makes an analysis of the geographical conditions for the construction of a big port in Fangchuan and the feasibilities of changing this port into an Oriental Antwerpen. |
