| Abstract: | Shandong province has utilized foreign investment and introduced technology by means of borrowing money from foreign countries, absorbing foreign direct investment, international leasing and compensation trade. It is trying to expand the source of foreign investment. The countries and regions, from which foreign investment was introduced had developed to 53 in 1992 from 38 in 1991. According to statistics, industry, especially textile, chemical, machine- building, electronic, communication and electric manufacturing industries are the main industries invested by foreign businessmen. The main areas introducing foreign investment are Qingdao, Yantai and Weihai. |
