| Abstract: | In this Guide a selection of the key EU documents and publications of 1996 is listed, highlighting important institutional and policy activities and initiataives of the European Union. (Note that "EC" remains the standard term for material published by EUR-OP.) In addition, a selection of significant new publications and series is noted. Some titles issued in the closing weeks of 1995, or titles published in 1995, but which became available only in 1996, are included. The Guide is divided into five sections: General, Governance and institutional developments, Financing the Union, Internal policy developments and External policies and relations. |
