Abstract:This paper thinks that the East Asian economic model, in essence, is that post developing countries are catching up with and surpassing advanced countries, the course of industrialization has been shortened continuously and it is East Asian countries' practical choice when they are facing modernization. The East Asian economic model still has great vitality. This is just because it tallies with the actual economic and social conditions of East Asian countries. Such a model both embodies the excellent spiritual culture of East Asia and incorporates the trends of modern world economic development.
