Abstract:Since reform and opening up, Japanese investment in China has grown rapidly and it is mainly concentrated in south China. North east area is also an important place for Japanese enterprises' investment. But the amount of investment in this area is small among the total investment. The reform of state-owned enterprises in northeast area hasn't been conducted smoothly. To transform the state-owned enterprises there, we will continue to introduce foreign investment. But Japanese enterprises' investment in China can not grow by a big margin in the near future due to the adjustment of China's preferential policy toward investment, reform of taxation system and difficult position facing reform of state-owned enterprises.
