| Abstract: | A consideration of the alternative methods of resolving disputes that may arise in international construction contracting, highlighting the disadvantages associated with such methods. The avoidance of disputes through the implementation of documentation policies and cooperative communication among the parties is also assessed. The role of the chief executive officer is emphasized. The review covers the general rules, the potential causes of misunderstanding and the need for goodwill. |
