| Abstract: | The study examines the different views and perceptions of landscape. To be precise the negotiations among key factors e.g. operators, tourists and farmers, are discussed in relation to three dimensions of landscape that are values and requirements; how landscape is experienced; and what are the future development prospects. The study is based on an analysis of documents representing the key actors within rural tourism. There is a particular focus on how the texts relate to the three dimensions under consideration. The findings reveal that actors having different positions and attitudes agree with their concerns about landscape change, and in their desire to preserve food traditions and local produce. |
