Abstract:The Federal Communications Commission decided to allow ABC, CBS and NBC to buy maximum 10 per cent of cable homes throughout the country and maximum 50 per cent within the local market. The cause of the decision is that TV networks have lost many viewers and the advertising revenues decreased. The viewers claim that cable prices are high and services are poor.
