| Abstract: | Canadians plan to launch a commercial satellite transmitting mainly on US cable systems. The predominantly CBC programmes will be broadcast 18 hours daily. The satellite called Northstar will air productions of private broadcasters and independent producers, too. It was decided to spend the profit on development. |
