| Abstract: | This paper explores the development and implementation of "workplace social partnerhips" in two NHS trusts. Empirically, the authors argue that inter- and intra-union relations can both facilitate and constrain management decision making and the implementation of policy. The authors highlight the inconsistencies in the parties' perspectives on "workplace partnership". |
