| Abstract: | The article argues that locating the psychological contract at the level of the individual-organizational relationship can provide valuable information about psychological contract dynamics. The study, which is based on interviews made among the British police force, implies that the institutional and organizational context (in the actions of third parties and in management practices) can undermine the degree to which the manager and the employee can reach agreement about mutual oblications. |
