Abstract: | Politically and technologically, the world today is clearly a different place than it was a century ago. Heritage and tradition affect many aspects of business, especially in companies that are more than a century old. To ensure that these companies retain their competitive advantage, HR must play a leading role in managing change. Human resource helps the company remain forward-thinking by retaining a mixture of employees. The new people bring in fresh ideas, and the established employees help with training and keeping traditions intact. |
