| Abstract: | How are you handling sexual orientation issues in the workplace? All too often, HR handles the situation by ignoring it. But if you do not address the concerns of gay and lesbian employees in your diversity awareness programs, you could see a drop in their productivity or even lose valuable workers. And if your company continues to pretend gays and lesbians do not exist, it will never truly be diverse. Equitable treatment of this employee group is not just a matter of benevolence and good will, it is a matter of intelligence and good business. |
