Abstract: | As world business grapples with the environment, lessons can be learned from the experiences of leaders in environmental management. These companies strongly integrate environmental issues into their corporate strategy, and follow common best practices to manage the environmental aspects of their business operations. In particular, they set environmental goals against which they measure performance, and they look for environmental opportunities that fit their long term business strategy, creating a win-win situation for many stakeholders. |
