| Abstract: | In this article, environmental operations management (EOM) is defined as the integration of environmental management principles into the decision making process for the conversion of resources into usable outputs or products. The successful environmental operations management strategy will result in products that exceed customer expectations and regulatory requirements by eliminating the use of hazardous materials and environmentally unsafe processes. |
