Abstract:Human resources professionals have a major role in the successful implementation of technology in organizations. Increasingly, they are asked to help to decide which technology to purchase, to hire and train workers and to cope with the inevitable problems that arise with technological innovation. Such change generally has positive effects for most workers. Much of employees' resistance to innovation is overcome by anticipating problem areas, actively involving workers in the change process and meeting their training needs as they cope with these changes.
