Abstract:Lithuania, just as the other Baltic states, has completed the first stage of transition to normal market economy. What is the situation now and what can be expected in the near future? Will inflation go further down? Since 1992, which can be called the year of monetary shock, inflation has been constantly going down in Lithuania. The GDP and GDP per capita are the main indicators that will be used to evaluate the continuity of reforms and trends in the convergence of the level of economic development.
