| Abstract: | Last year the Luxembourg Summit paved the way for Estonia's membership in the European Union. At the end of April the pre-membership negotiations in Brussels commenced. Estonia was as the only Baltic country invited. The question that many individuals and business leaders are asking themselves is: what will such a membership mean for Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania? As the first country invited to the negotiations, what changes must Estonia make to fulfill the requirements for full membership? |
