| Abstract: | Questionnaire studies on equity judgments based on an axiom that underlies Rawls's difference principle are presented. Covering a period of 15 years, this investigation was run at Austrian, German, and Slovenian universities. Two of basic scenarios to check for responsibility aspects were also modified. In addition, information on socio-demographic characteristics of respondents in a probit model was included. Results indicate some convergence over time. Responsibility considerations are important if they can be attributed to particular persons etc. |
