Abstract:The article aims to incorporate culture and technology insights with insights on gambling behavior. The purpose is to bridge the gap between gaming business research and gambling social scientific literature by focusing on "responsible gaming". One significant cross point for these two fields is the design and deployment of responsible gaming programs in gaming industry settings. The article claims that insights from business literature on gaming, hospitality and marketing could contribute to the discussions of problem gambling.
