| Abstract: | This editorial article presents the contents of this special issue concentrating on the question of time and gender. It is suggested that the amount of free time has not increased despite the intensification of using time-space, policy and technological changes in and around organizations. The saving of time has in fact resulted in more work and hence a heavier workload. This special issue analyses such work-time patterns from a gender perspective. |
