Abstract:Computer failure is not the only company nightmare. Bombs have brought a new view of risk - and a windfall for some. Recovery is defined as the planned process of getting right back to where you were before the disaster. Companies are encouraged to take a holistic approach. Customers and clients are sympathetic after a disaster but sympathy soon drains away if normal service isn't resumed quickly. The first days are critical.
